$35 per hour.

We can provide you with a free quote containing the amount of hours we think is adequate for your needs, depending on the complexity of your specific case. Please be assured, we follow a targeted research plan in order to optimize your time. You can trust that we have the knowledge and experience to search efficiently, so as to not waste precious research time.

Billable hours include the following services:

• Review of Client-provided background information and analysis of DNA test results (where applicable).
• Research using online & remote sources such as contacting vital records, archives, libraries, etc. (On-site research is not available outside of Burlington County, NJ and surrounding counties at this time).
• Entering findings into Ancestry Tree (where applicable) and/or compiling Family Group Sheets.
• Analysis of research and final report of findings, including negative findings.
• Cited Source and copies, transcripts, abstracts and/or summaries of documents, (where needed) (Translation services are not offered).
• Suggestions for further research.

Please note, the majority of the above tasks are completed simultaneously, as to not waste research hours. 

You always have the option to choose less hours than the suggested quantity in the quote. Likewise, you also have the ability to add more hours if you’d like continued/ additional research.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your goal information will be found in the contracted amount of time, due a limited quantity of hours being opted for. This depends on the information and records available at the time of the search. Some records are unavailable, do not exist, or are unable to be located. For example, a search for an ancestor’s previously unknown Parent involving DNA match  analysis and record searching simply cannot be achieved in a couple of hours.

Additional reimbursable expenses not included in the hourly rate include, but are not limited to:

• The cost of DNA test is an additional cost and is to be paid directly by the Client to whichever DNA company the test is from. We recommend Ancestry.com®. 
• The cost of retrieving specific historical records such as birth/death/marriage certificates (charged at the cost of the record from Vital Records, Local or State repositories, etc.)
• Photocopies when needed, such as from Libraries, Archives, etc.
• Flash drives (upon request) & shipping costs.
• Travel and lodging where applicable, for repositories that need to be accessed in person, mileage to be charged at the current rate allowed by the IRS.
• Postage for any mail correspondence. 

All charges will have prior authorization by the client. All receipts will be provided.
